OUR APPROACH

Information used to operate and protect your membership.

Umbrella Ticket Solutions collects only the information reasonably necessary to operate member accounts, administer memberships, verify and process citation reimbursement claims, maintain security, communicate with members, and comply with applicable legal and business obligations.

We do not sell members' personal information.
01

Information We Collect

Umbrella Ticket Solutions collects information reasonably necessary to operate member accounts, administer memberships, verify and process citation reimbursement claims, maintain security, communicate with members, and comply with applicable legal and business obligations.

Depending on how you use the Services, the information we collect may include:

  • name, email address, telephone number, and other account or contact information;
  • driver profile information, including date of birth, driver's license number, license state, expiration information, and related identifying information;
  • photographs or copies of driver's licenses;
  • citation information, citation images, supporting claim documents, court documents, payment records, and final-disposition documents;
  • membership, subscription, benefit balance, claim, reimbursement, and billing history;
  • communications with our support or administrative teams;
  • authentication, multi-factor authentication, security, session, audit, and login records;
  • browser, device, IP address, request, cookie, session, and similar technical information associated with use of the website and member portal.
02

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • create and administer member accounts;
  • establish and maintain driver memberships;
  • determine citation and claim eligibility;
  • process, review, approve, deny, document, or reimburse claims;
  • maintain benefit balances and historical membership records;
  • process and reconcile membership payments;
  • communicate about account, membership, billing, claim, support, or security matters;
  • authenticate users and enforce multi-factor authentication;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our Services;
  • comply with legal, accounting, regulatory, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping obligations.
03

Payment Information

Membership payments are processed through Stripe or another payment processor designated by Umbrella Ticket Solutions.

Payment processors may collect and process payment-card and billing information directly under their own privacy and security practices. UTS may receive and retain information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, billing cadence, subscription status, refunds, failed payments, and related payment history.

UTS does not require its personnel to receive or manually store a member's full payment-card number as part of the normal membership process.

04

Driver License and Claim Documents

Driver-license images, citation images, court documents, and supporting claim records may contain sensitive identifying information. These materials are collected because they may be necessary to establish driver identity, maintain driver profiles, verify membership eligibility, and administer claims.

Access to these records is intended to be limited to authorized users, administrators, service providers, and personnel who require access for legitimate account, claim, security, technical, or legal purposes.

Members should not upload documents unrelated to the membership or claim being administered.

05

Cookies, Sessions, and Technical Data

We may use cookies, session identifiers, local storage, server-side session data, and similar technologies to operate the website and member portal.

These technologies may be used for login and authentication, security, session continuity, preferences, fraud prevention, and basic website functionality.

Disabling required cookies or browser storage may prevent portions of the member portal from functioning correctly.

06

How We Share Information

Umbrella Ticket Solutions does not sell members' personal information.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Services, including payment processing, hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, security, document storage, communications, and related technical services.

Service providers may receive only the information reasonably necessary for the services they perform and are subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law, legal process, subpoena, court order, or governmental request;
  • investigate suspected fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or unlawful activity;
  • protect the rights, safety, property, or security of UTS, our members, or others;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • complete a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
07

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including membership administration, claim processing, payment and accounting records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and business recordkeeping.

Ending or canceling a membership does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of prior membership, claim, reimbursement, payment, benefit-ledger, support, security, or related historical records.

Historical records may remain in read-only, archived, backup, audit, or otherwise restricted form where reasonably necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes.

08

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

Safeguards may include encrypted network connections, authentication controls, multi-factor authentication, restricted administrative access, session controls, logging, and other security measures appropriate to the Services.

No website, database, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Members are also responsible for protecting their account credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

09

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to UTS and your information, you may have rights concerning your personal data.

These rights may include the ability to request confirmation of whether we process personal data, access certain personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a copy of certain data, or exercise other rights provided by applicable law.

Certain requests may be limited or denied where permitted by law, including where information must be retained for claim administration, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, security, or other lawful purposes.

We may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of a person submitting a privacy request before acting on that request.

10

Texas Privacy Rights

Texas residents may have privacy rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and other applicable Texas privacy laws, subject to the scope, applicability, exceptions, and limitations of those laws.

Where applicable, these rights may include access, correction, deletion, obtaining a copy of personal data, and certain opt-out rights.

A privacy request does not require UTS to delete records that we are legally permitted or required to retain.

11

Children's Privacy

Umbrella Ticket Solutions is a general- audience service and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring deletion or parental authorization under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps.

12

Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may interact with or link to third-party websites, payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, or other services.

Third parties operate under their own terms, privacy notices, and security practices. This Privacy Policy does not control information independently collected or processed by those third parties outside our direction or control.

13

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, information practices, legal obligations, or security practices change.

Material changes may be communicated by reasonable means, including an updated notice on the website, member-portal notice, or email where appropriate.
